The Long Road

"It had been a long road for Joseph; it had been a desperately rough road too. There was the slimy pit, the brothers' treachery, the slave chains, the terrible place temptation, and the prison cell. But what a different ending this story has: "And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, see, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt...only in the throne will I be greater than thou". And can you hear Joseph speaking to his brethren: "God meant it unto good...to save much people alive."

To Rest

Mark 6:31 New King James Version (NKJV) 31  And He said to them,  “Come aside by yourselves to a deserted place and rest a while."

To Encourage...

Hebrews 10:23-25 English Standard Version (ESV) 23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, 25 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
