Rest for Our Souls

"We can find peace in knowing that most of our struggles won’t last forever. Even those difficulties which seem to last a long, long time are but a comma in the story of eternity. God’s plan for us is always good, despite the fact life’s circumstances seem to be the opposite of what we hope for or desire. We can find more rest for our souls if we daily remind ourselves of this truth." - Caroline Bellemare

To Encourage...

Hebrews 10:23-25 English Standard Version (ESV) 23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, 25 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.

Spiritual Significance

John 15:5 New King James Version (NKJV) 5  “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. "One day, a wise friend helped me understand this verse more fully by saying, “Apart from me you can do nothing  of spiritual significance,  nothing  of   etern al value.” - Caran Jantzen

To Stand

Ephesians 6:12-13 King James Version (KJV) 12  For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13  Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
