Humility

Humility is always a choice - a choice which arises out of a high sense of one's worth and value. Look at this phrase: "Jesus knew that the Father had put all things under his power..." Everything was under His power! And what did He do with that power? He used it to take a towel, pour water into a bowl and wash the disciples' feet. Knowing who He was made Him great - and humble, Great because humble, and humble because great." - Selwyn Hughes

To Encourage...

Hebrews 10:23-25 English Standard Version (ESV) 23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, 25 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.

Spiritual Significance

John 15:5 New King James Version (NKJV) 5  “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. "One day, a wise friend helped me understand this verse more fully by saying, “Apart from me you can do nothing  of spiritual significance,  nothing  of   etern al value.” - Caran Jantzen
