Grace already given

Once I was in Memphis, Tennessee, and went with a friend into a diner for breakfast. I ordered bacon and eggs - just bacon and eggs. However, when my order arrived it came with something called 'grits' - a kind of porridge popular in the deep South. 'I don't think I ordered grits,' I exclaimed. The waitress replied, 'Maybe you didn't, but at breakfast time grits come with everything.' It's the same with grace. It comes with everything in the Christian life. It is there right now to help you ask God to forgive you for misunderstanding the gospel of free grace and come to the glorious realisation that you don't have to do anything to earn His love. You already have it. - Selwyn Hughes

To Rest

Mark 6:31 New King James Version (NKJV) 31  And He said to them,  “Come aside by yourselves to a deserted place and rest a while."

To Encourage...

Hebrews 10:23-25 English Standard Version (ESV) 23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, 25 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
