Raw Prayer

Psalm 137:8-9
New International Version (NIV)

8 Daughter Babylon, doomed to destruction, happy is the one who repays you according to what you have done to us. 9 Happy is the one who seizes your infants and dashes them against the rocks.

"Not the warmest or most encouraging of bible verses! But it is worthy of comment for a couple of reasons. One is that it reminds us that we can be honest in praying. We don’t have to smooth out our grammar or censor our thinking or feeling when we pray. We bring God what is on our heart—the good, the bad, and the ugly. A Necessary Sacrifice
