Don't Give Up

"Sometimes, it hurts to serve. Honing your spiritual gifts can certainly help so that you’re not straining against your God-given abilities. But it’s also good to remember that developing grit — the practice of not giving up, even in the tough times — is also a biblical value. When serving is an arduous task, and you know you’re supposed to do it, don’t give up and complain about it. Instead, let God's Holy Spirit work through your weaknesses. You will be amazed at what God can accomplish through you as you let His strength and determination be your guide." - Christa Hardin

To Encourage...

Hebrews 10:23-25 English Standard Version (ESV) 23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, 25 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.

Spiritual Significance

John 15:5 New King James Version (NKJV) 5  “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. "One day, a wise friend helped me understand this verse more fully by saying, “Apart from me you can do nothing  of spiritual significance,  nothing  of   etern al value.” - Caran Jantzen
