No Fear

"The Acts of the Apostles shows them (the disciples) to be afraid of nothing - life, death, opposition, the Roman authorities? They had been filled with adequacy, the adequacy of the Holy Spirit. Fear no longer paralysed them. They belonged to the 'Society of the Emancipated'. And the doors of that society are open to you and to me." - Selwyn Hughes

To Encourage...

Hebrews 10:23-25 English Standard Version (ESV) 23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, 25 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.

Spiritual Significance

John 15:5 New King James Version (NKJV) 5  “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. "One day, a wise friend helped me understand this verse more fully by saying, “Apart from me you can do nothing  of spiritual significance,  nothing  of   etern al value.” - Caran Jantzen
