Imagine

I can only imagine what it will be like When I walk, by your side I can only imagine what my eyes will see When you face is before me I can only imagine - Mercy Me

Glorious

Psalm 19:1 New International Version (NIV) 1 The heavens declare the glory of God;     the skies proclaim the work of his hands.

Certain

Numbers 23:19-20 New International Version (NIV) 19 God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill? 20 I have received a command to bless; he has blessed, and I cannot change it.

Willing Service

1 Peter 5:2 English Standard Version (ESV) 2 shepherd the flock of God that is among you, exercising oversight,[a] not under compulsion, but willingly, as God would have you;[b] not for shameful gain, but eagerly;

To Rely on God

"Relying on God takes practice. Seeking Him daily through prayer and asking for what we need for the day means we must trust Him to provide. As we learn to trust in His daily provision, the anxieties of our own efforts are lessened." - Debbie West

As He Loved

Ephesians 5:1-2 Good News Translation (GNT) 5 Since you are God's dear children, you must try to be like him. 2 Your life must be controlled by love, just as Christ loved us and gave his life for us as a sweet-smelling offering and sacrifice that pleases God.

Partners

"The more we get to know Him, the more the focus of our hearts shifts from our will to His. When our desires are in sync with His desires and we desperately ask to see God’s will done on the earth, He hears us. God loves to welcome us as partners to accomplish the good work He has prepared in advance for us to do." - Fab Batsakis

Strong

Whatever You Do

Psalm 1 1 Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, 2 but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. 3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither — whatever they do prospers.

Wait

Psalm 62:1 New Living Translation (NLT) Psalm 62 For Jeduthun, the choir director: A psalm of David. 1  I wait quietly before God,      for my victory comes from him.

God's Peace

"We are to trust that God is good and with us despite feelings to the contrary. We call to mind the Scriptures and our past experiences to remind ourselves of what might not be readily apparent. In that way, God’s peace is the sort of peace we have when things are anything but peaceful." - David Reay

He is waiting

Only Him

Deuteronomy 13:4 New Living Translation (NLT) 4  Serve only the  Lord  your God and fear him alone. Obey his commands, listen to his voice, and cling to him.

In His Hands

"All you have to do is be true to what you believe God is leading you into, to pray with faith over every important issue, then success and failure are in the hands of God. That releases you from the tyranny of having to be successful. If you are always looking at the end and not at the means to the end, life becomes anxious and complex." - Selwyn Hughes

His

"For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Ephesians 2:10 NIV

Given Rest

Hebrews 4:1 Good News Translation (GNT) 4 Now, God has offered us the promise that we may receive that rest he spoke about. Let us take care, then, that none of you will be found to have failed to receive that promised rest.

Lead Me

Psalm 139:23-24 New International Version (NIV) 23 Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. 24 See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

Willing?

"Are we willing to go wherever God might plant us, even if it means moving to a weed-infested section of the garden? Or to a quieter corner?" - Liz Curtis Higgs

A Community of Faithfulness

Acts 6:1-4 The Message (MSG) 6 1-4 During this time, as the disciples were increasing in numbers by leaps and bounds, hard feelings developed among the Greek-speaking believers—“Hellenists”—toward the Hebrew-speaking believers because their widows were being discriminated against in the daily food lines. So the Twelve called a meeting of the disciples. They said, “It wouldn’t be right for us to abandon our responsibilities for preaching and teaching the Word of God to help with the care of the poor. So, friends, choose seven men from among you whom everyone trusts, men full of the Holy Spirit and good sense, and we’ll assign them this task. Meanwhile, we’ll stick to our assigned tasks of prayer and speaking God’s Word.”

Rest

There is a restlessness within us that cannot be satisfied until we rest fully in God. -AW Tozer
