His Victory

Psalm 98:1-3           Sing a new song to the Lord,              for he has done wonderful deeds.           His right hand has won a mighty victory;              his holy arm has shown his saving power!           The Lord has announced his victory              and has revealed his righteousness to every nation!           He has remembered his promise to love and be faithful to Israel.              The ends of the earth have seen the victory of our God. As for me...

Psalm 73:23-28 New International Version (NIV) 23 Yet I am always with you;     you hold me by my right hand. 24 You guide me with your counsel,     and afterward you will take me into glory. 25 Whom have I in heaven but you?     And earth has nothing I desire besides you. 26 My flesh and my heart may fail,     but God is the strength of my heart     and my portion forever. 27 Those who are far from you will perish;     you destroy all who are unfaithful to you. 28 But as for me, it is good to be near God.     I have made the Sovereign Lord my refuge;     I will tell of all your deeds.

It must be acknowledged that different convictions are held within the Church about these things, but I believe we can. God doesn't have an energy crisis. His Spirit still works in great power in some parts of the world today. Why not where we are?" - Selwyn Hughes
